• All candidates must passed diploma in chemical engineering form a government recognized institution or university and must have passed 10th examination form a government recognized board.
• Candidates must have passed 3 years diploma in civil engineering form a government recognized university or institution and must have passed matriculation or 10th from recognized board.
• Candidates must have passed diploma in computer engineering form a recognized institution and should have passed 10th Class examination form a government recognized board.
• Candidates must have passed diploma in electrical engineering form reputed institution and should have passed 10th examination form a recognized board of education.

Age Limits For Oil India Ltd. Trainee -
• For Candidates belong to SC/ST categories - Minimum 18 years of age and maximum 35 years of age.
• For Candidates belong to OBC (non-creamy layer) category - minimum 18 years of age and maximum 32 years of age.
• For Candidates belong to general category - minimum 18 years of age and maximum 30 years of age.
