Educational Qualification For OSSSC Lab. Technicians -
• Candidates must have passed +2 science examination under the council of higher secondary education odisha or equivalent qualification.
• They should have passed diploma in medical laboratory technology form government medical colleges or hospitals of the state or any other institutions recognized by government of odisha or all Indian council of technical education.
• If candidates have higher education such as bachelor in medical laboratory technology (BMLT) or Master in medical laboratory technology (MLT) then they are also eligible to apply as they fulfil the basic required qualification.
• Candidiates must have registered themselves in the Laboratory technician council in the state and they should possess valid registration certificate.
Age Limits & Relaxation For OSSSC Laboratory Technicians -
• Candidates must be 21 years of age and should not more than 32 years of age as per the eligibility criteria.
• The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST/SEBC/Women candidates of odisha.
• The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years in case of OBC (Non creamy layer) candidates.
• Upper age limit will be relaxed by 10 years in case candidates belong to PwD category.
• Candidiates belong to Ex-Serviceman category will be provided upper age relaxation as per the government regulations.
• Age mentioned in the matric certificate (10th) will be considered for age verification.
