It invites invite promising, energetic and interested candidates for it's apprenticeship program for a time period of one year in various trades. Required Qualification For Candidates For This Vacancy
1. ITI Apprentice candidates must have completed full time ITI course in relevant trades.
2. Diploma candidates must have completed their 3 years full time diploma in relevant engineering disciplines.
3. Graduate candidates must have completed their full time B.Sc/B.Tech/B.E course in relevant disciplines.
4. For the post of executives, Candidates must have completed 3 years degree with post graduation such as MBA or MSW etc.
5. For the post of secretarial assistants, candidates must have passed 10th or matriculation and have knowledge of Stenography, Secretarial, Commercial practice and basic computer knowledge.
Prescribed Age Limit & Relaxation Provided
• Candidates must not be under 18 years of age.
• No age relaxation is mentioned in the notification yet.
What Is The Selection Method For Powergrid Vacancy?
• First candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained by them in the qualifying examinations as prescribed for a certain post.
• Then they will be called for original documents verification and if they possess all the documents and certificates, they will be selected for apprenticeship.
• No recruitment examination or viva-voca will be conducted for this apprenticeship.
What Is The Examination Fee?
• There will not be any examination for the selection of candidates for apprenticeship. Hence there is no fees will be charged.
How To Apply For Powergrid Trade Apprentice?
1. Candidates have to register themselves (as a candidate/student) in the website of NAPS for HR executives/CSR executive/Executive Law/ITI electrician at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in or NATS for degree/diploma in engineering at www.mhrdnats.gov.in and complete their profile by uploading required documents.
2. Then they have to visit the official powergrid website and apply from their portal only.

General Conditions/Eligibity For Applicants
1. Candidates who possess all the required qualification are eligible to apply for this apprenticeship.
2. Candidates who are below the age of 18 years are not eligible to apply.
3. Candidates who have undergone any apprenticeship program for any duration previously are not eligible to apply.
4. Candidates who have job experience from any organization for more than 1 year are not eligible to apply.
5. Candidates who are awaiting the results of their final exams are not eligible for this apprenticeship.
6. If any candidate is found to have provided false or incorrect information about certain documents then he or she will be disqualified.
7. Incomplete applications or applications submitted without proper documents will be rejected without any notice.
8. After the completion of apprenticeship period, candidates have no claim for any employment in the organization.
9. Candidates will not be eligible for this apprenticeship if they have more than one living spouse if they are married.
10. Candidates will be given monthly remuneration as per government guidelines.
Certificates & Documents To Be Provided For This Vacancy
1. Candidates have to provide 10th or matriculation certificate in support of age verification.
2. Candidates have to provide all the required qualification certificates as mentioned for certain posts.
3. Candidates have to provide any proof of identification such as aadhar card, pan card, voter card etc.
4. They have to provide all the mark sheets of their qualifications as prescribed.
5. Candidates have to provide recent passport size colour photographs of themselves.
6. Candidates have to provide all the original documents and certificates at the time of documents verification.
7. Candidates have to provide their registration certificate in NAPS or NATS.
